Open A Book Program #9

 What have you accomplished? - We accomplished our schedule throughout the month and also got to spend time with some of the kids and get comfortable with them. We also met up with three of the fifth-grade teachers and gave them our photo release form for the students.

What has gone wrong? - Miscommunication with Mr. Barcinas led to us not being able to conduct our first day of the program.

What challenges have you faced? - Some challenges we faced were getting a classroom set up for us and the teachers being aware of the program, because of miscommunication from KES part.

What have you learned through the process? - I have learned how to interact with some of the fifth graders and also get to see how they act. I also got to see how some of the other afterschool programs worked for the kids.

How have your skills improved over the past week? - My cooperation skills and also leading skills.

Are you on track for an on-time delivery? - Yes, we are because with the help of Dr. Snodgrass we were able to combat some of the challenges of miscommunication and get back on our schedule.

What adjustments need to be made on the timeline? - How we conduct our activities for the kids and on what days.
My next action is…. - To go again following week and start our program with the kids.
